VISITING US

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete paperwork if you have not filled it out ahead of time. Bring a photo ID, current insurance card, list of current medications, any applicable referrals, and any surgery or imaging reports.

Please wear or bring appropriate clothing to change into that you can move freely in—shorts and tank top or t-shirt are best. Gowns are available as well.

We encourage patients to remove their shoes for the therapy session as going shoeless can contribute to a better result. Comfortable, non-slip socks are recommended. However, if you prefer wearing your shoes, you may do so, we simply ask that you cover them with the disposable paper booties that are available upon entering our clinic. These paper booties over street shoes helps us maintain a clean safe floor for patients and staff.

Pain Science Physical Therapy is a clinic that welcomes dogs in approved situations. A number of patients bring their therapy dogs with them to their appointments. If you have a therapy dog you would like to bring with you to your appointment, let us know.

We also have therapists who are training their dogs to be therapy dogs and often have a dog who is kept in the employees-only office room during the day.

If you have an allergy to dogs or a fear of dogs, please let us know before your visit so that we can accommodate your needs. Our clinic is thoroughly cleaned weekly, our equipment is cleaned after each use, and our carpets are washed quarterly. In addition, our windows are kept open and HEPA filters are running so that airflow is optimal.
